Ugh! I hate this argument. The fact that many people make these errors does not make them (quote) non-errors (ENDQUOTE)…it makes them common grammar mistakes.
That said, there are a few entries on that list that make sense.*
*E.g., “Hopefully”, “Who vs. That”, “Persuade vs. Convince”…
